How to Wall-Mount Milwaukee M18 Batteries: 3 Easy Options
Share
Loose batteries are one of the easiest ways to lose bench space and time. They roll around, get buried under projects, and you can never tell which ones are charged. Getting them on the wall or onto your Packout fixes all three problems.
Option 1: Vertical wall mount
The simplest setup is a vertical M18 wall mount. It screws to any flat surface, and the battery slides on and locks with its own latch, just like it does on a drill. Put a row of them above your charger and you have a charging station where you can see what's ready at a glance.
Option 2: Horizontal wall mount
On a tool wall, shelf, van wall or trailer, an upright battery can get in the way. A horizontal M18 mount holds the battery level (parallel to the floor) under an L-shaped bracket, for a lower, tidier look.
Option 3: On your Packout
If your tools live in a Packout stack, keep the batteries there too. A Packout M18 battery mount presses into one of the slots on top of a Packout lid, with no screws or tools. The fit is tight and the battery locks on with its own latch, so it rides along when you roll the stack to the job.
Installation tips
- For wall mounts, use four screws into a stud, plywood, or a French cleat panel for the strongest hold.
- Leave a little space between mounts so you can grab batteries with gloves on.
- Mount them near your charger to make swapping quick.
Running M12 too?
We make the same options for M12: wall mounts, Packout mounts (including a 45° angled version), and an M12 tool wall mount that holds the tool itself.
